The Rensselaer County Dental Plan is a self-insured plan administered by Delta Dental.

Individual coverage is offered at no additional payroll deduction to employees.

Family dental coverage has a deduction of $36.99 per pay-period for 2024.  This is in addition to any deduction you have taken out for health insurance.

**IF YOU SIGN UP FOR FAMILY DENTAL COVERAGE, YOU ARE LOCKED INTO THE COVERAGE FOR 2 YEARS FROM THE DATE THE COVERAGE GOES INTO EFFECT.  YOU CANNOT CHANGE TO INDIVIDUAL, OR TERMINATE THE COVERAGE, BEFORE THE END OF THE 2-YEAR TIME PERIOD.

There is an annual maximum of $1,200 per person per year under the dental plan.
